Accounting for wholesale, trading and firms.

Wholesale and import-export businesses, agencies, professional practices and holding companies each stretch a different part of the accounting. Inventories and currencies for traders. Client money rules for firms. Structures and consolidation for holdings. We work across all of them daily.

What we handle

  • Inventory and landed-cost accounting for traders
  • Multi-currency transactions and revaluation
  • Client account rules for professional practices
  • Holding-company accounts and consolidation
  • Property income schedules and tax computations
  • XBRL for every entity in the structure

Wholesale, import and export

Trading margins live or die on landed cost: freight, insurance, duties and currency all belong in the cost of that container, or the gross margin is fiction. We cost inventory properly, handle multi-currency purchases and sales with month-end revaluation, and keep GST treatment right across imports, exports and zero-rated supplies, including the import GST schemes traders commonly use.

Agencies and professional practices

Agencies live on project and retainer billing where revenue recognition drifts from invoicing. We keep office and client accounts cleanly apart and support the annual declarations the profession requires.

Investment and property holdings

Holding companies look quiet from outside and rarely are: intercompany loans, dividend flows, property income schedules and consolidation requirements all need care. We prepare entity and group accounts, keep the intercompany positions reconciled, and handle the tax computations where rental income and interest deductions meet.

Common questions

Yes. Foreign purchases, sales and revaluations are routine for our trading clients, with month-end rates applied consistently and exchange differences correctly split.

The true cost of goods including freight, insurance and duties. Without it, gross margin is overstated and pricing decisions are made on fiction. We build it into inventory costing.

Yes. Holding companies prepare financial statements, file annual returns and tax returns like any other company, and often need consolidation and XBRL as well.

Yes, one team across the entities is precisely the point: consistent policies, one compliance calendar, no gaps between firms.

Exports are generally zero-rated with documentation requirements to match. We keep the paperwork discipline so the zero-rating survives an IRAS review.

Yes. Engineering and services contracts are recognised over time on a measurable basis, so months are comparable and no cliff appears at completion.
Invoices, bank accounts and revaluations run natively in the software with realised and unrealised differences reported separately each month.
We track the financial side of sector permits and flag renewals that carry fees or conditions, and we work alongside your industry consultants where regulation is technical.
Yes. Tender packs often need recent statements, solvency declarations and specific ratios. From clean monthly books these are produced in days.
