Ian & Son is a Singapore accounting practice built for owner-run businesses. Since 2012 we have kept SMEs compliant and informed, quietly, reliably and in plain English. We believe good accounting should feel like relief, not another chore.
The practice started in 2012 with a simple observation: small business owners in Singapore were paying for accounting they could not read, delivered by firms that treated them as too small to call back. We built the opposite. A practice where the person who does your books is the person who answers your message, where fees are agreed before work starts, and where a filing deadline is our problem to watch, not yours to remember.
The tools changed along the way, we moved clients onto cloud accounting early and became a Xero Gold Partner and certified Migration Specialist in the process, but the idea has not moved: take the administrative weight off the owner, completely, and hand back the hours.

Accounting is a trust business before it is a numbers business. So we hold to a few plain rules. Fixed fees, agreed in advance, because surprise invoices poison trust. Plain English, because a report you cannot read is a report you cannot use. Cloud-first, because your numbers belong to you and should be visible to you at all times. And calm, because the entire point of hiring us is to stop worrying about this part of your business.

We are based in central Singapore and work with clients across the island. Most day-to-day contact happens over WhatsApp, email and video call, with meetings when they genuinely help.
The practice is a Xero Gold Partner with Level 1 and Level 2 certified professionals and accredited Migration Specialists, and we are QuickBooks ProAdvisors. Certification is maintained, not historical.
