Services · Payroll & HR
Salaries computed, CPF submitted, payslips issued and year-end reporting filed. Every month, on time, in line with the Employment Act. Ian & Son has run payroll for Singapore employers since 2012, from three-person startups to multi-outlet groups with shift schedules.
1
A few days before payday you confirm the month’s changes: new joiners, leavers, overtime, commissions, unpaid leave. One email or a shared sheet is enough.
2
We compute gross to net, apply CPF at the correct age-banded rates and run a variance check against last month so anomalies surface before payday, not after.
3
You receive the payroll register and GIRO file for sign-off. Nothing is paid until you approve it.
4
Payslips go out, CPF is submitted by the 14th of the following month, and the payroll journal lands in your accounting file automatically.
Employers who have discovered that payroll is unforgiving. A wrong CPF computation or a missing payslip is not a small error: it is a compliance breach with an employee attached. We run payroll for companies that no longer want that risk sitting with whoever is least busy that week, for founders doing payroll themselves at midnight, and for firms whose office manager left and took the payroll knowledge along.
Shift-based teams in F&B and retail, commission-heavy sales teams and mixed local-and-foreign workforces are our normal workload, not edge cases.
Employers must issue itemised payslips, keep detailed employment records, contribute CPF for citizens and permanent residents at the correct age-banded rates, and submit contributions by the fourteenth of the following month. Employee earnings must be reported to IRAS each year, by 1 March, through IR8A, and employers on the Auto-Inclusion Scheme file electronically. When a foreign employee resigns, tax clearance through IR21 is generally required at least one month before departure, with final salary withheld until IRAS clears it.
Each of these has a penalty attached for getting it wrong. All of them are routine when they are somebody’s actual job. They are ours.

A fixed fee per employee per month covering computation, payslips, CPF submission and standard reporting. Year-end IR8A preparation is included. Headcount changes simply adjust the fee.
Payroll data is held in access-controlled systems and handled under our PDPA obligations. Only your assigned team can view it, and access is logged.
Yes. CPF for citizens and PRs, work pass conditions and levies for foreign staff, and IR21 tax clearance when a pass holder leaves. Mixed workforces are the norm among our clients.
Commission schemes, shift allowances, overtime at Employment Act rates and pro-rated months are all standard fare. We encode your rules once and apply them consistently every month.
Contributions for a month are due by the last day of that month and must be paid by the fourteenth of the following month before penalties apply. Our calendar submits well inside the window.
Yes. The monthly payroll journal posts into your Xero or QuickBooks file automatically, so the books agree with the payslips without anyone retyping figures.
