How onboarding works

1

Records review

We look at your current books, whatever shape they are in. Backlogs and shoebox records are normal here and carry no judgment.

2

Clean handover

We collect access to your bank feeds, invoices and past filings. If you have an outgoing accountant we deal with them directly.

3

Cloud setup

Your chart of accounts, bank feeds and integrations are set up properly on Xero or QuickBooks. Historical balances are migrated and reconciled.

4

Monthly rhythm

From the first full month you receive management accounts on a fixed calendar. Questions get answered within one working day.

Who this is for

Most of our bookkeeping clients fall into three groups.

  1. Owner-run companies where the founder has been doing the books at night and wants the time back.
  2. Growing businesses whose volume has outgrown a part-time bookkeeper or a spreadsheet.
  3. And companies that already have an accountant but want faster numbers, cloud access or simply more attention than they are getting.

If your company is GST-registered, runs POS or e-commerce platforms, or holds multiple entities, the reconciliation work is heavier and this service matters more, not less. Those are the books we handle every day.

What Singapore law expects of your books

Every Singapore company must keep proper accounting records and prepare financial statements that comply with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. Records must be kept for at least five years.

Companies that qualify as a small company are exempt from audit: the test is meeting any two of three criteria for the past two financial years, namely revenue at or under S$10 million, total assets at or under S$10 million, and 50 or fewer employees.

GST registration becomes compulsory once taxable turnover exceeds S$1 million. Registered businesses file GST returns, usually quarterly, and their bookkeeping has to track input and output tax cleanly from day one. We build that into the chart of accounts so the quarterly filing is a report, not a project.

What you receive each month

A standard monthly pack contains your profit and loss, balance sheet, aged receivables and payables, and any balance sheet item schedule. GST-registered clients also receive their filed return and workings.

At financial year end we deliver the full statutory financial statements, the supporting schedules your tax agent or auditor needs, and the XBRL filing where required.

We also provide corporate tax and corporate secretarial services, so you have a single point of contact for seamless annual compliance and most importantly, an absolute peace of mind.

For your books, everything lives in your own cloud subscription. If we ever part ways, the books, the history and the logins are yours and stay with you.

Common questions

Fees are fixed monthly and based on transaction volume. After a short look at your records we quote precisely. No hourly billing and no surprises: the fee only changes when your business does.

Yes. Backlog clean-ups are one of the most common ways clients join us. We reconstruct the ledgers, reconcile the bank and bring filings current before switching to a normal monthly rhythm. The clean-up is quoted as a one-time project so your monthly fee stays predictable.

Most SMEs qualify as a small company and are audit-exempt: any two of revenue at or under S$10m, assets at or under S$10m, or 50 or fewer employees, held for two consecutive years. We assess your position and prepare everything your auditor needs if an audit does apply.

Whichever fits your business. We are certified partners of both. Xero tends to suit service businesses and multi-entity groups; QuickBooks is often stronger for inventory-heavy operations. We recommend after seeing how you actually work.

On a standard calendar your management pack arrives within two weeks of month end, assuming bank feeds and documents flow normally. Clients who need faster closes can have them: it is a matter of agreeing the document rhythm.

Less than you expect. Professional handovers between accountants are routine: we request the records directly, reconcile what we receive and flag any gaps before they become your problem. Most switches complete within a month.

We prepare the year-end schedules and financial statements your tax filing is built on, and we coordinate directly with your tax agent. Where we act as your tax agent too, ECI and Form C-S deadlines are diarised alongside everything else.
